Anna Kournikova Maxim Pictures

Anna Kournikova is a former professional tennis player who is more famous for her looks than her forehands and backhands. The Russian blonde became a pin-up girl from the ATP and became quite popular. However, she has never won a singles ATP tournament before. She did win 2 Women's Doubles Grand Slam titles with partner Swiss Martina Hingis. I am thinking she's earning more money when she did photo shoots and magazine covers than her career winnings. She married singer Enrique Iglesias and now they are separated. Her name doesn't come up very often now, but surely Maxim didn't forget about this Russian bombshell, putting her on the cover of Maxim September 2008.

Goalkeeper With Nice Style

Preamble Hello. Most football matches are about 22-28 men, a clown who had his head flushed down the toilet at school and is now in possession of a whistle, and a pig's bladder with a logo daubed across it. But tonight's European Cup match between Internazionale and Manchester United is all about the two men on the touchline hiding behind faux-Matalan coats, and especially Jose Mourinho. The bogeyman is back, and he has given huge intrigue to a game that - given how useless Inter have been in Europe for so long - would seem relatively routine for United were anybody else the manager.

"If Design Were..." with Brooks Hudson Thomas

Blackman Cruz protégé, Brooks Hudson Thomas, breaks out on his own with Specific Merchandise. With a background in art, a fascination for handicraft and the obscure, Brooks curates a collection that is undeniably personal...specific even. According to Brooks, the idea behind this venture was to do a "deliberate mix of high and low things" and to "blur the line between a gallery and a shop." The collection is pretty innovative even for a discerning design enthusiast, with pieces from furniture designer Tim Lewis, Mexican ceramicist German Montalvo (pictured,) and an exclusive lighting collection by Marie Christophe (pictured.)

After visiting with Brooks and really taking in the store, the name Specific Merchandise really sunk in and made sense. I thought it would be interesting to get inside the mind of the man behind the showroom to understand design as he sees it. Let's play, "If Design Were...," with Brooks Hudson Thomas:

SY: If design were... an object?

BHT: "A bottle opener."

SY: ...a person?

BHT: "Donald Judd."

SY: ...a place?

BHT: "Tokyo."

SY: ...a song?

BHT: "Tony's "Something's Coming", West Side Story."

SY: ...a film?

BHT: "Auntie Mame, or Cary Grant in anything."

SY: ...a moment?

BHT: "A first kiss."

Ana Ivanovic Sports Illustrated 2010

Ana Ivanovic will very likely retain the world's hottest tennis player title, and to prove us once again what so many of us see in her she decided to show how good she looks in red bikini at photoshoot for the famous Sports Illustrated. The result of this photoshoot was Anna hotter than ever.

What can I say dark haired girls certainly look exceptionally good in red, especially in tiny red bikini, and Ana Ivanovic is definitely one of the hottest female atheletes of all time. Enjoy.
