Dolly: He's Alive
Classic Dolly at the 1989 CMA's.
What more can you ask for in a performance!?
Wait for it, forward to 3:25 to see the climax... so powerful, so good.
I'm even considering converting... just kidding.
Shabat Shalom my friends,

SYI: Thanks to Jack for sharing this video w/ me.

Textiles of the past: Mid-Century Hexagon

"Textiles of the past" will hopefully be a growing collection of... textiles of the past, here at seanyashar.com
This is a pic of an old building with the coolest carpeting. I wish developers would spend the extra dollar on these type of touches nowadays. Industrial quality carpeting in hallways just does not work anymore.
BTW, I'm supporting the democratization of design in 2008.

Between Earth and Heaven

One of Lautner’s grandest designs rose above Acapulco Bay in Mexico, where in 1973 the architect built a 25,000-square-foot home that seemed to float above the water. The Arango residence, also called Marbrisa, included an expansive open-air terrace with bedrooms on the level below. - I.D. Magazine
“Between Earth and Heaven: The Architecture of John Lautner” will be on show at L.A.’s Hammer Museum through October 12.
Anybody wanna go w/ me?
