As a native Angelino, I'm drawn to Silver Lake because of it's artistic identity. Off "the grid" from the rest of L.A. and a haven for non-conformists for over 100 years, Silver Lake has a wonderful collection of modern architecture including work by Rudolf Schindler, Richard Neutra, and Frank Lloyd Wright, among others.This narrative provides a gorgeously illustrated, inspirational tour of the architecture, interiors, and shops of one of modern design's newest hot spots: Silver Lake, California.
